Simon & Suzanne regret to announce we are no longer accepting bookings for chambre dhotes or camping as we are moving on to pastures new. 

We would like to thank all of our guests that have stayed with us over the last few years

'Barnabé' is part of an old farm set in 10 acres of peaceful Normandy countryside, 4 kms from Livarot, 18 kms from Lisieux and 1 hours drive from the ports of Caen (Ouistreham) and Le Havre.

Bed and Breakfast is available in a partially converted pressoir.

'Barnabé' is close to the Normandy Landing Beaches, Pegasus Bridge, Honfleur, the Calvados cheese and cider routes as well as many other interesting places.

Bayeux with its famous tapestry and Mont St Michel make for enjoyable day trips.

Why not experience French shopping, either in the market places of St Pierre sur Dives (Monday mornings), Lisieux (Saturday mornings), or try the abundance of shops in Caen city centre.

There is so much to see and do, but you may prefer to sit back, relax and read a book, walk the local nature trails or wander the quiet lanes. Life is so much slower, why not just come and enjoy.
